After years as an actor in the Royal Shakespeare Company, Mike Gwilym decided to leave it all behind to live in Andalusia; A place he'd been in love with since his youth when his parents bought a holiday home in the hills of Jimena de la Frontera.

Once in Spain, Mike, having been interested in architecture and design his entire life, decided to enter the world of property development. His first major build was El Majar in Casares.

In 2001 Mike met his partner, fine arts specialist E.M. Coutinho. Together the two embarked on various projects dealing in fine arts, design and property development.
